>> OK, todays problem:) Actually I think it's an easy one, but I can't seem to find an answer for it...I'm exporting fields to an Excel sheet, when I do so, and the file already exists, a dialog comes up and asks if I want to overwrite or not. Is there someway to trap which button I chose? The thing I'm wanting to do is to alter a progress display if the no button is hit. Any suggestions?

>I think you'd have to SET SAFETY OFF, develop your own form and routine to check for the existence of the file and proceed from there. An alternative is to check the date/time stamp before and after the operation. If they're different, the file was overwritten.
