The Pentium II is placing ASCII characters in place of lines and rectangles placed on the page. All text fields are printing OK.

Are both computers using the identical printer driver? Both the PII and the P/233 have the same basic instruction set. I'd look at the network settings and printer definition on both machines to make sure that they're identical.
