I would try to troubleshoot by simplifying -- just open 2 tables [details and supplier?] and see if you get that 1-to-many working. Then add from there. I agree with Richard that your best bet would be to create a [parameterized] view of this with the item no as the parameter. Then just requery() when the item number changes.
