I have an application compiled in VFP5 that populates MS Excel spreadsheets from MS SQL-Server to plot graphs, etc. It runs well under Win95, Win98. But when it runs under MS NT, it pauses frequently. It usually pauses for 10-15 minutes and continues thereafter. The problem is that sometimes it drops it's server connection (timeout or something) and the application crashes.

So far, the application crashes at these two places:
1) During chart plotting in Excel.
2) C++ Runtime Error during subroutine calls to C++ .DLLs which the program calls to perform calculation prior to populating Excel.

The application runs on a network of about 12 users.
