>I am converting a FoxPro 2.0 application to Visual FoxPro 6.0. In the old application they issue a change fields command to view a schematic drawing that is created. The table has 49 fields that store the 49 rows of the drawing. I have attempted the change fields command and works partly but the look doesn't fit with the rest of the application. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a different way of doing the same thing?

"Change fields" still exists in VFP + it's browse or grid with fields placed at the left side rather than top. With using a font like "Courier new" you should get the effect.
But yet in VFP there are shape objects + line, circle, box methods. I would keep coordinates and draw using them.
