>>Hi, I notice that you have switched from Visual Basic to Visual FoxPro. Our company is in the process of making a final decision to switch FROM VFP to either VB or VC++ or both. The main reasons for our decision to switch FROM VFP is the lack of experienced VFP programmers and the "dark cloud" that persistently hovers over the future of VFP. We would be very grateful to hear the main reasons for your decision of switching TO VFP.

>It's funny that you see a lack of VFP programmers, where, as a programmer, I see a limited selection of VFP jobs... I don't know which one creates the others. I also wonder if half the people that use VB and call them selves programmers really know what they are doing?

>Where is the 'dark cloud'... To me its a bright shinny day. VFP is part of Visual Studio... a fairly major update is coming out next month, and Version 7 is in the works also. I have seen more VFP articles in non-VFP magazines this year than any other year also.

Ditto the part about the articles. Devx just created a VFP column, I believe. (the other comments, too)
