Hi Rex, I don't have it in the default value of the PK, maybe not too standard, but I have a newid.prg file, gets called without having to use "set procedure to", I don't use it as a default value because I do record recycling, so the "new" record may not be a new one after all, but a recycled one, therefore the default value would not be filled, as I said, I had no problems with ths scheme.
