Check out last November's FoxPro Advisor for an article by George Tasker on Creating Single-Instance Applications. Its on the Advisor site.

I believe there is also an artible in the UT Files ections -- click on the file cabiniet icon to the left to access this section.

I use George's mutex method, and it works flawlessly.
