I had the same problem to do a single fax with the results of several REPORT FORM commands. As I don't want to start the command.com in the background, I created a cursor with a single memo field. Then I read the files with APPEND MEMO ADDITIVE in the right order into the memo and put it back to disk at the end with COPY MEMO. That worked fine for me.
