Well so far all of the solutions presented here as well as
some things I tried myself have all been unsuccessful
There simply seems to be no way to maintain multiple
selections when the right mouse button is clicked.
What I'm trying to acheive is right click shortcut
options that can be applied to all selected items.
I'm open to suggestion
