I've used FoxSpell from Strategic Edge. It works pretty well. I don't think it does as good a job suggesting correct spellings as Word, but it does a decent job. The interface is fairly ugly, but you get source code so you can clean it up without much trouble. Incorporating it into an existing application was quite easy.
One warning. There was a thread here recently where someone said he was having trouble getting Strategic Edge to honor their money back guarantee. I haven't had any trouble with them, but you may want to search the message archives for threads mentioning FoxSpell.
You can buy it from
Hallogram Publishing.
>I would like to incorporate a spell checker into the distribution programs I'm creating. I will need a distribution license, therefore not VFP's spellchk.app. Can anyone share their experience with this? What are you using? Does it work well? How much trouble is it to incorporate with the program? Retrofitting existing applications?
