My hardware guru's wakeup sequence: one beep - memory, two beeps - video, ... twelve beeps - alarm clo.. ALARM CLOCK!

Another one: I'm on a phone with a fellow programmer, and he says "wait a little, the wind is blowing here, I'll close the window... but, why doesn't... damn, I just clicked the close box, of course it won't close the real window".
