And the following is possible at the Next Visual dBASE conference: Two women standing in the hall:

1: "Hi. Are you staying in this hotel?"
2: "Yes, I'm here for the VD conference."
1: "Oh. Are you a doctor?"
2: "Errr, No. I have VD. I just want to learn about it's features"
1: "Oh, you poor thing!"
2: "VD is not so bad. It's actually a pretty powerful tool"

At which point woman 1 runs screaming for security!!!

>ROFLMAO!!! I can picture this: Two competing developers giving presentations...the first one does a spiel on VFP...the next guy comes up:
>
>"We believe strongly in VD. VD has been good for our clients. We feel we can leverage the power of VD for your needs. You'll like VD; it catches on real quick"....

>>>Yeah, I just said reputable. It's interesting to note that Katz claims to have attempted to do a small project in several other tools, including VFP and Delphi and after deciding that dBase was still the best development tool out there, that he thought it was worth taking over. I think his only knock on VFP was that it did't have two-way tools like VD does. Kind of weak.
