Thanks Bob for the tip.
I believe the client is using windows NT with an older release of the SQL driver. I think they only have up to Service release 3 installed. We are trying to get the client to upgrade the server to 7.0(same as us) and to get the next service release for NT. I will look further into the driver issue.

The memo field size is set to 255.

Note:
I copied the data out of the table into a temp table and dropped all constraints and then drop[ed the table recreated the table and added all the constraints again. I then removed the remote view from FoxPro and then added it back again. So far everything looks good, but i wasn't able to test it as the client was closing up for the evening back at it today.
