Create a shortcut to the DOS app.
View the properties of the shortcut
Under the "Program" tab is a Windows NT button - click it.
It will display the path to the config.nt and autoexec.nt files.
Adjust them a required.
Also, under the memory tab, you might want to run the
conventional memory in protected mode.
I have an application, that is foxpro DOS and needs to run under Windows NT Workstation in a DOS window.
The computer is an IBM 300 GL. It has NT Workstation 4.0 Installed. (sp 3)
The network is NT 4.0 latest sp applied.
Foxpro will run and load up.
When I try to run the program, I get the following error:
"Insufficient File Handles" and needless to say it crashes.
In DOS, the config.sys program sets the number of file handles.
How do I increase the number of file handles so that my pogram will run?
