I forgot to mention that you can get back to white space with the BLANK command.

BLANK FIELDS LIKE nDummy

This might be a candidate for your button.

Also, this is all nice for Fox tables, but I think SQL will replace numeric white space with .NULL. or zero, so it's worth checking.
