>We are in the process of creating a VFP 6.0 CD ROM application and we need advice, suggestions, important info, etc. This application will be primarily data driven, but it will also include pictures and video (AVI). This will be our first application that will be written in VFP 6.0, but we have experience with 2.6 (internal apps), and we have limited experience in VFP 5.0.

Adding to what's already been said, I'd recommend taking a long look at one of the frameworks. My personal favorite is Visual FoxExpress. If nothing else, you can use it as a learning tool. VFE has a tutorial and sample apps that you can dissect in order to learn. The frameworks will also cut your development time considerably. And, lastly check out Rick Strahl's Web Connection product at
http://www.west-wind.com. If you're thinking about doing any web based stuff (and if not, why not) his product is THE ONE. He also has several white papers and shareware/freeware for VFP.
