Pete:
Just came across your barcode scanning query. In cas you haven't solved it, you may need to reprogramme your scanner so that it automatically transmits a CR (Enter)after scanning. We use scanners in a couple of apps here and have no problems (except the programming of the scanner which seems to be more of an art than a science<bg>
