Removing cevents.vcx is the next step after I edit CErrorMgr class via business object builder. But my project doesn't use any events yet eventhough I have an aevents.vcx in the project libs. And installing 4.2 into a new MMortals directory gets rid of cevents.vcx and only leaves cevent.vcx in there for use by default.

This is getting weird, I manually change metadata.dbf in ../project/metadata, but once setup.prg gets fired by calling the business object builder the darn entry gets set back to cevents.vcx? Any more ideas? Maybe I just need to copy cevents.vcx from my 4.1 backup into the new dir structure and be done with it?
