>Our company has a vertical market app that is used by field sales force for many Fortune 500 companies. As is normally the case with software, the more we do, the more we're asked to do. We get flooded with requests on a weekly basis (and most requests make sense). We normally release updates to our software on a quarterly basis, but are also pressured by clients to implement enhancements in between updates (i.e. 'slip-streaming.)

>We have a methodology in place for addressing and prioritizing these, and are looking to tweak it. I was curious to learn if anyone out there has had similar experiences and how they've addressed it.

>Thanks in advance,

If your client wants you to slip-stream a new feature, have them pay for its development. This would be an additional cost over any maintenance and/or upgrade fees. If they can't or don't want to pay, then they will have to wait until you get the next release out the door.
