I have had this error message and it does not seem to be trappable. My experience was that I had a look up table (combobox) in one form and then used the same look-up table in a another form (called by the 1st form). The error occurred when you left the sub-form and went back to the 1st form. I couldn't fix it quickly so I decided to hard code the list in the combobox object (you could also use a sql*select for the combo).

While the solution might not work for you at least you may find out which table might be causing the error and make adjustments accordingly.
