1) I personally don't use 'currency' type fields. But I'm also not writing accounting programs. If you look under 'format property' in the HELP system, you'll see the "$", but it doesn't really tell you how to use it.

2) Yes, until you get to the next VFP problem (but UT is open 24 X 7)

3) Leave a message on UT. Seriously. I was told this by some coworker years ago, and I've passed it on several times. I don't know WHERE it's documented officially, although I've seen it several times in articles/FAQs etc. It's not exactly esoteric information, but it ISN'T documented by MS.
