Hi Jayesh -- Thanks for the note

To answer your question, I have not placed any code into the click() off the ADD button on my buttonset. It is a wizard generated buttonset. It is set to default, which is a blank page.

Back when I first started this project, I did not know how to create a navigation system, so I created the first form via a wizard and copied and pasted the buttonset onto all my other forms.

Any ideas?

I would go into a detailed explanation of the problem, but there is a faster way to see that than for me to type it again. I sent a post about an hour or so ago that was very detailed as to the specific problem. I have been working on it with Barbara Paltiel. I believe I posted it in the CODE,SYNTAX section and it is called "adding more than one record to a child form"

Thanks for your help Jayesh.

I would love to get to the bottom of this. It is amazing the things that slow me up in the development process. I never would have thought I would have had so much trouble adding a record!
