At least, the user must install VFP runtime libraries. the .exe you build is not necessary to copy to the user's HD.
I've finished a application it seems like your company's product with VFP 6,
The application display pictures/Datas, perform a serch by enter keyword or click the product's categories. My problem is VFP's performence slow down even though on a P5 200Mhz PC when I create many(200+) objects in a form. Maybe you can avoid this.
I am so insteresting on why you don't want to use Director? In fact, I plan to use Director or C++ Builder to do this in next year.
