This was the first thing I tried and it works very well except on tables with more than 50,000 records and going to the bottom part of the file. The reason I need this type of function is that I am wanting to use a virtual listbox (third party) and I have to populate the listbox myself. The thing is blazing when there are no indexes set. If I had the structure of a cdx file, I could probaly write this myself using low-level file functions. Does anyone know where I can get the VFP 6 cdx file specifications.
