A form with ShowWindow set to As-Top-Level can only be modeless regardless of the WindowType property setting.
Side note, if you use Desktop = .T. for a form with ShowWindow = As-Top-Level (2), WAIT WINDOW doesn't display (in 6.0). There's no need to change this setting from the default with top level forms.
