Create an entry for the printer on the workstation using the Generic/Text Only printer driver, and direct your printed output to that Windows printer, so that Windows won't convert the output to a graphic image. If you want to do any print formatting (ie selecting font/pitch/etc) you'll have to send the print code yourself to the printer by putting the control sequence into the output stream.
