Tim,

You're gonna find out that a lot of Oracle's developement tools will take you back in terms of user friendliness. All the Oracle tools I've worked with show their Unix roots.

The simplest way to use SQL*Plus with out 3rd party tools is to copy everything into a SQL file and edit with Notepad. Then @file.sql to run it from the Oracle enviroment. The SQL editor can only hold 1 SQL statement in its buffer.
