However, I don't have SET CARRY ON code placed anywhere in the app., so I don't think that is the problem.

One of my biggest problems in FoxPro is that I haven't figured out how to do a "lookup" for a field in a table.

In access, I can create a "look-up" for a numeric data type field which allows you to store a numeric data type in a character field. So, when you browse a table, you can see the text, and not the number.

I haven't figured out how to do a "look-up" in FoxPro, and I have been fighting it for months, by having to do work arounds.

I believe my problem with this issue revolves around that general idea.
