Terry, are these people running a VFP application with the runtime? If so, the SP3 patch won't do a thing for them - it becomes your responsibility to send them an updated runtime. You'll need to apply SP3 to your system, and then send out the runtime files (and your recompiled .EXE as well) and have them install it over their existing VFP runtime.
To reiterate - SP3 doesn't update a VFP6 runtime installation, only the development package. You have to create the new runtime for them (easy enough to create a minimal Setup Wizard install containing only the runtime) and porovide that to your users to update the runtime on their systems.
If they bought the development version of VFP6, so that they have the full development package, then SP3 will work for them.
