Mauricio,

it will always look in C:\ if you use ADO. The only way around this is using RDS (Remote Data Services). Using that, you can allow a user to load your Active Document through a web browser, and the Active Document can then load the data remotely through RDS. But be aware that there are some serious security risks involved in using RDS.
