Yes, Keith. It helps < s >. You have other field(s) that print on top or on bottom of the stretchable one. Well, if it is the first or last field in the band you could create a grouping that groups on the same thing the detail band groups on, and put your stretchable field in that band. Then you can even have the luxury of using "Remove band if blank."
