>I'm running a compiled VFP executable off of a shared network drive. It usually runs fine but I keep getting a spurious runtime Error 2005, something about parent class of an object not being valid. However, when I retry the same piece of code without even restarting the program, or when I do restart the program, it will work fine. Something wierd is happening.... but I don't think it's a programming bug. The application works fine when I run it as a user ON the server on which it is located. The problem only seems to happen when network clients are accessing the program. I might add that everybody is using the *same* instance of the VFP executable on the network server. That's OK, no? Everybody does have their own VFP runtime installed on their machine.

Hi, I did have the problem with clients computer where the power management was set to on. It seems when the computer is in sleep mode, it loses the access to the executable. I did set off this and didn't have the problem.
