>>Nope, I mean a textbox and command button. It does keep a command button from executing a click even, if you call MESSAGEBOX(), however, use a WAIT WINDOW (with or without NOWAIT, but especially with) or nothing at all, the command button's click can release the form.

>You're right, George. I don't use wait windows any longer, so I hadn't noticed...but something to be aware of, as it's "sneaky" - the button does not visibly click, but the code runs...in fact, that could be a rather nasty thing to debug :)
Yep, that's why I mentioned it.:-)
>>BTW, Bruce, you going to DevCon? I can't remember if I saw your name on the list or not.

>No, I'm taking a "hiatus" this year, for a couple reasons. I'll miss it, but not quite as much after seeing all the messages about travel difficulties :) I'll definitely be back next year, though, when it'll be closer by (Atlanta was the main possibility). I guess you're not going this year, either? How about next year, if it's in Atlanta?
Nope, unfortunately, not this year. As soon as the site's announced for next's, I'm going to start the wheels rolling to see if I can make it. Since Hartsfield (the Atlanta airport, for those not familiar with "Peachtown") is less than an hour away, if it's there, even if the "wheels fall off", I'll be there at least as a lurker. (Maybe a sign on saying, "Will work for DevCon info")< g >.
