I ran into something the other day with VFP5.0. I converted an older system from FP2.6 to VFP5.0.
Basically several forms did the following. The sequence was as follows:
1. On form user edits field or fields.
2. Depresses command button to Save changes.
3. I issue a GATHER MEMVAR MEMO.
4. Prompt user if he would like a print of out record.
5. I select that record.
6. Issue the Report command.
7. Report shows data as it was before change was made.
8. User calls back up the record and data record reflects the changes.
Found problem to be with write buffering. I had to issue the FLUSH command after the GATHER in order for the record to be updated immediately.
All worked fine after this change was made.
SET AUTOSAVE was on.
Want to know if anyone has had similiar problem.
