Corrupt Properties in Class Designer After Upgrade to VFP6

I recently upgraded to VFP 6.0. I tried to rebuild an old project and run it under 6.0. I encountered errors and when I viewed the classes in the designer the values appeared to be corrupt. For example, the value for myprop would be displayed as:

anotherprop = myvalue

where anotherprop is another property that is defined for the class (either in this class or it's parent). The value for myprop should be .f. ("").

When I view the class code in the class browser it correctly states that myprop = "" and when I double click on myprop in the right side window of the browser the popup windows displays myprop = .F.

When I browse the VCX file everything looks fine in the properties memo field.

I applied service patch 3 with the same results. The VCX files were originally created for VFP 3 and have been compiled under VFP 6.

Any ideas as to what is causing the problem and/or how to correct it would be greatly appreciated.
