Vlad-Georg had some good suggestions. One other thing to keep in mind is that you can not mix Clipper NTX indexes and DBT memo fields with VFP. If you have converted your Clipper tables to CDX indexes and FPT memos, using the drivers provided or one of the 3rd party drivers you CAN work with the data as free tables IF the tables don't have too many fields.

If you have the time, it is best to rethink your entire strategy to take advantage of being able to open multiple forms, cut/paste data etc. You may still be able to use your procedural PRGs as the basis for method code in forms or classes.
