Didn't you mean code in the TEXTBOX GotFocus()?
Either use TextBox::GotFocus() to call the VFP base class gotfocus, or if you have subclasses the VFP controls, you can use =EVAL("THIS.parent.gotfocus()") but watch out, that breaks in VFP 5!
I'd upgrade to 5 anyway if possible, once you install the Visual Studio service pack to upgrade to 5.0a it's FAR better than using 3.0b - unless you can't get away from Windows 3.1 and Win32s.
