Unless you guys are pursuing this for the "fun" of it, I wouldn't spend another minute on it. I would just gather the data into a cursor (SQL) with fields: line1,line2,...line8 and preprocess the data so that all the blank lines are forced to the bottom. Then construct my label form with no conditions on printing anything. Not very adventuresome, I know, but it allows me to move on.
