Here's an experience I had that may be of interest to some of you:
I got a writeable copy of a project we're working on out of Source Safe and put it into my working folder: C:\Development\Project1. The original project was created by a co-worker in C:\Project1 on their PC and then checked-in to Source Safe. The common path that we all have to the Mere Mortals files is C:\Development\MMortals\... Only our project working folders may differ from developer to developer.
When I rebuilt the project in its new home directory, it could not find the Include file for the menu pads in aMenus.vcx. The Compile All and Display Errors options were checked.
I discovered that the original path to framincl.h, 'c:\development\mmortals\common30\include\' was changed to 'c:\development\development\mmortals\common30\include\'.
A later section, Moving Framework Files, mentions the use of the ChngPath utility to correct paths to Framework files when you actually move the Framework itself. I decided to try this utility even though I did not actually move Framework files.
This time, when I rebuilt Project1, there were 0 compilation errors - a successful move.
I hope this is helpful...
