I am trying to retrieve the handle to the VB IDE menu by using a combination of the GetDesktopWindow, GetWindow and GetMenu API functions. I can get the handles for menus in applications that do not use dockable menus, but when I try to get the menu handles for Word, Excell, the VB IDE, or (it would seem) any other app that uses dockable menus, all GetMenu returns is Zero.

Any help is appreciated.
