Thanks for the reply - this is the third time I posted this message and you are the first person to reply. I understand your response but I don't see any way that I can let the grid get focus ONLY when there is a mouse click on it since it doesn't register mouse clicks. In any case, where does the mouse click go? The grid doesn't get it, the form doesn't get it but it causes the field to lose focus. I can tell where the mouse is but I can't intercept a click. Can you point me to an API call that would do the trick?? Thanks...
