I solved the problem an hour or so ago. I tried different methods like installing VSSP3 again VS again - nothing worked. Microsoft was right. I had to uninstall VS 6 then reinstall loade updates VSSP2 checking each time and it worked then attempted VSSP3 again. Form wizard works, although I had already done the form I needed without the wizard. Who knows what caused the problem, but it is gone. Point is that you have to uninstall the entire Visual Studio then redo step by step. DOn't know if this will help with any of the muriad of C000005 problems, but it did fix this one.
>John....in your case, having already installed SP3, make sure that you've installed the latest DCOM components. That has also been a problem with C00005 errors. --- Larry
