I like your approach on this. We may re-think this approach and give it a go. Sounds like we wouldn't have to boot people to update certain files.

>We actually have our application installed on the users local machine. That way, we can replace the exe or any other files on the server at any time (we keep a mirror copy there). If we do update files, we remove a .txt file - the local application looks in the file (if it is there) for a datetime stamp. If the file is not there or the datetime is different than the local copy, another exe is started that copies the files to the local workstation.
