I skipped the inching and threw myself at Interdev. I'll be interested to see what you have to say about Cold Fusion.

>Hi Gang...

>I have waited making a formal announcement on this. However, you probably have noticed that my profile info references a new company. Main Line Software, Inc. is about a month old now. In terms of technologies, while I will still work in VFP, I am inching toward the realm of web development with tools such as Visual Interdev and Cold Fusion. The company is geared toward these areas:
>
>1. Custom Applications Development
>2. Database analysis and Design
>3. Project Mentoring
>
>In addition, I will still be teaching for Application Developers Training Company. In addition to teaching Visual FoxPro, I will be in the training cycle for Visual Interdev and SQL Server.
>
>My 3 years at IDT were happy ones and I still do work for the company on a consulting basis. However, I needed the freedom to work on projects that comprise a variety of technologies. And, as far as IDT is concerned, my interests began to fall outside the scope of IDT's strategic focus. Simply put, it was time for me to move on.

>And, in case you are wondering about the name Main Line.... I live in the western suburbs of Philadelphia that is collectively known as the Main Line. The towns in the Main Line include Bryn Mawr, Villanova, Devon, and Paoli. The name came from the regional railroad line that runs into Philadelphia.
Some days it's not worth chewing through the leather straps ...
