The error occured both when it was run from VFP in my development environment and running the compiled executable. I downloaded and installed the SP3. Now, the app runs fine from within VFP, and I did recompile, but the executable is still getting the C5 error.

I guess I might try (after making backup of form) commenting out chunks of code, removing any suspicious objects, etc. IOW, try to get it the exe to run without the error, by process of elimination, to idenify the problem...

I've not installed the SP3 at my office, so I'll be able to reproduce and find the error there, but I was hoping to take care of it onsite tonite (would be nice to clean this up before I'm gone all next week at Devcon!) If you think of anything else, let me know! Thanks much!

Then the error occurs when I attempt to load that form again (sometimes I have to do it 3 times). Anyway, I should be able to maybe troubleshoot it now as i can at least run the debugger. But, I guess there's not gonna be any quick fix for the customer tonite!

There usually never is. I STILL have problems with the C...5 error and the debugger. As a matter of fact, it only took me about 30 seconds to crash out of VFP (SP3) with the error. I haven't noticed much of an improvement in that area, or at least not as much as I had hoped!
