With 64 MB RAM and no other apps running, VFP 3 can gobble up all my resources in a few minutes. I try to keep an eye on the resource meter and exit VFP when it turns yellow.

I also did find some interesting articles on Microsoft's Knowledge Base about VFP 3.0 problems in general - check out article Q148562 if you're interested (and still developing in VFP 3.0).

I will not touch VFP 3.x. I only do 32 bit environment work now. Call me picky but there are much less problems that I have no control over.
