>>I'm having problems after SP3, too...one was caused by CLEAR ALL, removing that from code stopped run-time crashes. But if anything, I'm getting more GPFs at design-time now with SP3 installed - they aren't C000005s any longer, they're back to the old vfp5-style "application termination" crashes. I have to resort to very frequent saves in order not to lose work; I suppose I should try a complete re-install of both vfp6 & SP3...

>I haven't done the SP3 upgrade at my office yet (so far, only yesterday at the client's). So, what's the recommendation from all you guys ... has the SP3 upgrade been a good thing or a bad thing? Should I forget it or not? What's the general consensus about SP3?????
That's a good question...I had a very stable vfp6 on my home PC until I installed SP3, now it's highly unstable. OTOH, my work machine with vfp6 seems to be quite stable with SP3 so far, though I haven't used it a lot yet...I think my home machine is probably an exception, and hope re-installing everything may help there...
I have noticed a performance increase with SP3, at least, that's one good reason to upgrade...
