I have only 1 view. The recordsource for the grid is the name of the view. The recordsourcetype is 1-Alias. The controlsource of a gridcolumn and the related control is the fieldname in the view.

Am I just stupid or what? I assume that when the record pointer of the view moves, Any controls bound to the fields should change as well and they do as long as my grid has focus. Once the grid loses focus, it's highlighted row, won't change.
