Be sure that all of the fields you want updated are checked, and that the key fields are marked as key fields.

Yes, if you have used a table in a view and then edited the table your view may need to be re-done. One help (it doesn't ALWAYS work, but it does help most of the time) is to add fields to your view 'manually', not be clicking on "All Fields". There seems to be a problem with teh "All Fields" when a table is changed.
